Kenneth Earl Jackson, 85, of Zanesville, died at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Adams Lane Care Center. He was born May 17, 1925, on a farm in Ross County, Ohio, a son of the late George E. and Minnie V. Bryant Jackson. Kenneth was the youngest of 12 children born to George and Minnie. He retired after 50 years of service as a pharmacist in the Columbus, Ohio area. He was a United States Navy World War II Veteran. Surviving are a granddaughter, Charolyn Jackson of Shalimar, FL; a brother, Glenn W. Jackson of Dayton; a sister, Mildred Jackson-Kelley of Columbus, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; many cousins; two special friends, Wanda Farley and Jerry Wisecarver, both of Zanesville; and many other special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Jackson, who died in 1988; five brothers, James E. Jackson, George W. Jackson, Ray Bryant Jackson, Walter Jackson and Orville Jackson; and four sisters, Dorothy M. Johnson, Ruby Kelley, Rose Timmons and Ann Travis. No calling hours or services will be held.
