Kenneth G. Jones, 72, of Hopewell, died at 5:20 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 25, 1935, in Zanesville, a son of Edith M. Lindamood Jones and the late Glenn E. Jones. He retired after 42 years of service as a Stock Tender for Burnham Foundry and he was a member of Maranatha Bible Church. Kenneth belonged to the greatest service club of all, his family. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 53 years, Anna M. Collins Jones, whom he married July 2, 1954, of the home; two daughters, Lisa Dale of Zanesville and Rebekah (Steve) Brown of Dresden; three sons, Jeffrey (Mary Beth) Jones of Hopewell, David (Tina) Jones of Zanesville and Mark Jones of Hopewell; eight grandchildren, Kristina (Eric) Cabeen, Douglas Jones, Ryan Dale, Kyle Dale, Valerie Jones, Chase and Logan Jones and Hannah Brown; two great grandchildren, Daniel and Addison Cabeen; a brother, Don (Linda) Jones of Zanesville; two sisters, Annette (Paul) Van Horn of Zanesville and Debbie (Bob) Sasser of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Jones. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dale McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Bible Church, 2400 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville, Ohio, 43701.
