Kindra Lin Mellon Neff, 62, was lifted up by the loving arms of our Lord on October 10, 2018. She was born October 14, 1955, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Reed and Martha Joan Brown Mellon. She was a 1973 graduate of Zanesville High School. Prior to the progression of her illness, she was employed by Genesis Cancer Care Center. Kindra was known for her compassionate love for people and her contagious smile. She was a member of Zanesville First Church of the Nazarene and she loved to garden, craft, fish, golf, and spend time making memories with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Kristin Neff, and grandchildren, Alexis, Luke, and Hayden all of Coshocton; a brother, Kim (Coleen) Mellon of Worthington; a nephew, Alex; a niece, Olivia; many friends, and loving neighbors, Chuck and Margie Anderson, who helped care for her and treated her as family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a cousin, Allen Brown. Kindra has requested that there be no services and that a Cremation-With-Care take place. There will be a private family service to be held at a later date at Dresden Cemetery.
