L Kathleen Stoops

L. Kathleen " Fluffy " Stoops, 89, of Zanesville went to be with her husband and her Lord at 5:38 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2004 at Muskingum Co. Home. She was born November 13, 1915 in Adamsville a daughter of the late Clarence R. & Eunice Stotts Ross. She was a homemaker, a member of Coburn United Methodist Church, member of Laura Chapter 264 Order of Eastern Star, enjoyed knitting, doing crossword puzzles and watching her favorite TV shows. Surviving are two sons, Charles Rodney ( Doris ) Stoops of Newark and Richard ( Cyndie ) Stoops of Commerce City, Colorado, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a brother, Merwyn Ross of Florida, a brother-in-law Russell Stoops of Dresden and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles I. Stoops, who died February 7, 1999, a son, Ronald Stoops, two sisters, Treasure Utsler and Hazel Keyes. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2004 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the funeral home with Rev. Alice Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. The Laura Chapter 264 Order of Eastern Star of Norwich, Ohio will hold services at 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2004 at the funeral home.
