Larry R. Lynn

Larry R. Lynn, 66, of Zanesville, died at 3:12 a.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room. He was born December 28, 1943, in Zanesville, a son of the late Carroll A. "Cutter" and Goldie L. Watton Lynn. He was the parts manager for 40 years at Tansky Inc., graduated from Zanesville High School Class of 1961 and was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam. Larry was a member of the American Legion Post #29, Muskingum Co. Genealogy Society , was a past member of the Eagles Lodge #302 and was a volunteer at Genesis Healthcare Systems. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Judy Krouskoupf Lynn of the home; a daughter, Kim (Shon) Morris of Zanesville; a son, Gordon R. (Joyce) Lynn of Zanesville ; six grandchildren, Kayla and Kortney Morris, Tyler, Abby, Caitlin and Isabelle Lynn; a brother, William A. Lynn of Lowell, MA.; a very special friend who Larry thought of as a son, Bruce Paul of Zanesville and a host of friends at Tansky's. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Kenneth Lynn. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. A graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Veterans Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dale Campbell officiating.
