Larry G. Van Wye, 70, of Heathrow, Florida, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his residence. He was born October 28, 1936, in Zanesville, a son of the late Paul W. and Pearl N. Gordon Van Wye. He was a area manager for the National Association for the Self Employed and the United Group Association as well as co-owner of Van Wye Motors in Zanesville. He lived most of his life in Zanesville until moving to Orlando in 1988. Surviving are his wife, E. Jane Vandenbark Van Wye of the home; two sons, Rick P. (Lisa) Van Wye of South Zanesville and Greg Van Wye of Longwood, Florida; a daughter, Lorraine (Pat) Minchey of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Warren L. (Shirley) Van Wye of Zanesville; four grandchildren; a great granddaughter and three nieces. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Kudart officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32714 or to the charity of one's choice.
