Laura L. Binckley

Laura L. Binckley, 93, of Zanesville, died at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at The Muskingum Co. Home. She was born October 12, 1913, in Perry County, the daughter of the late Tallmadge and Bessie Brooks Ault. Laura was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, taught Sunday School for 42 years and taught Jr. Church for many years. Surviving are her daughter, Joan (Jonathan) Sims of Zanesville; a son, Donald (Donna) Binckley of Zanesville; nine grandchildren, Cynthia Graves Morgan, Melissa Van Allen, Donald Binckley II, Julie Binckley, Scott James, Gary James, Mike James, Janice Clifton and Susie Carter; twenty four great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Earl Binckley, who died April 24, 1985; one son, Ronald Binckley; three grandchildren, Diana Binckley, Jeremiah Binckley, and Jordan Van Allen; six sisters and four brothers. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 30 at First Baptist Church, 105 South 6th Street, Zanesville with Rev. Reginald Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park
