Laura Jane (Keller) Spragg

Laura Jane Spragg, 92, of Zanesville, died at 3:57 A.M. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at the Beckett House, New Concord.  She was born July 4, 1930, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Carl and May Keller. Laura was an avid bowler, passionate grandmother and great-grandmother, competitive card player, and had an adventurous spirit.

She is survived by a son, Alan (Jo Ellen) Spragg; Son-in-law Bill (Charlene) Hartmeyer; Grandchildren, Matt (Carly) Hartmeyer, Betsy (Jason) Rosser, Abbey (Matt) Hanna, Jeffrey Spragg (and his mother Sharon); and seven great-grandchildren, Tristan and Warren Hartmeyer, Jameson and Stella Rosser and Clay, Luke, and Joysan Hanna.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Doc” Spragg; her daughter, Joysan Spragg Hartmeyer; and a brother, Robert Keller.

Friends and family may call from 5:00 -8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 7, 2023, with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Richard at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
