Leatrice Reed

Leatrice Joy Reed, 79, of Zanesville, died at 2:10 am Tuesday, 9, 2004 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born July 14, 1925 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Ralph U. and Wilma A. Graham Huffman. Mrs. Reed was a bookkeeper at the former Cussins and Fern/Buckeye Mart Stores and an employee of the Muskingum County Juvenile Court. She was a long time member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Church's Women's Guild and Philichristi Fellowship and a member of the Holiday Ramblers Camping Club. Surviving are her husband, Raymond E. (Jim) Reed , whom she married August 31, 1945 of the home, three daughters, Melodie (Corley) Thomas of Nashport, Mollie (Doug) McCullough of Zanesville, and Martha (Michael) Willett of St. Paul, Minn., one sister, Myrna Loy (Darrell) Iden of Gratiot, nine grandchildren, Monica Thomas of Zanesville, Lt. Matthew(Lt. Kalee) Thomas (USN) Virginia Beach, Va., Wess (Cheryl) McCullough of Zanesville, Amy (Ray) Fryberger of Minn., Dawn (Rex) Kock of Ind., Erin Lasure of Zanesville, Kristie McCullough of Zanesville, Ben (Gudrun) Willett of Guatemala, and Emily (Paul) James of Minn., twelve great grandchildren, three nephews, Ron (Cindy) Iden, Jeff (Jo Ellen) Iden and Roger (Gina) Iden, a God daughter, Shelley Fuller of Zanesville several cousins, and all her special care givers at home and the hospital. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Chadwick J. McCullough. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave, Zanesville, Ohio, with the Pastor Sam Greening officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Friends may call from 12:00 noon till service time.
