Leona Stansberry

Leona M. Stansberry, 94, of Zanesville died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Beckett House, New Concord,. She was born April 1, 1911 at Grafton, WV, a daughter of the late Robert Keener and Alice Wolf Keener Reightler. She was a member of The First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are a son, Robert (Imogene) Stansberry, of Zanesville,a daughter, Janice Lucas of Zanesville, a sister, Neva Gay Kressly of Bethlehem, PA, eight grandchildren, Kandy (Jeff) Van Fossen, Greg (Melissa) Wyatt, David (Donna) Stansberry, Kim (Bob) Vousden, Jeff (Becky) Lucas, Ryan ( Cindy) Lucas, Steve Stansberry and Kip ((Debbie) Stansberry, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Stansberry, a daughter, Alice Jo Clice, a son, Gene Stansberry and a son-in-law, Rob Lucas, a brother, Earl Keener. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the funeral home with Pastor James Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
