Leonard F. Glaub

Leonard F. Glaub, 81, was a life-long resident of Zanesville. He was born July 28, 1937, in Zanesville and died December 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Leonard was a hard working handy man who was easy to laugh and always willing to help his family, friends, and neighbors. Along with sharing his skills to fix things, Leonard also enjoyed playing Euchre, watching NASCAR and the Buckeyes. Leonard retired from AEP after 28 years and was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Those of us who knew him will miss him dearly and are blessed to have known him as a great father, husband, grandfather, neighbor, friend, and provider for his community. Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Peggy J. (Offenbacher) Glaub; a son, Jeff Glaub of MI; a daughter, Penny (Rusty) Deaton of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Kayla (Alex) Laird, Melissa (Chris) Orosco, Brandon Glaub, Kari Jo Deaton, and Christopher Deaton; a great-granddaughter, Ari Orosco; brother-in-law, John (Linda) Offenbacher and sister-in-law, Shirley Offenbacher; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Glaub, Russell Glaub, Mildred Beisser, and Richard Glaub. Calling hours will be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
