Lewis E. Finley, 90, of Zanesville, died at 8:20 P.M. on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born February 4, 1924, in Ipswich, South Dakota, a son of the late John Edgar and Pearl Leola Crane Finley. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, worked as a Tow Motor Operator at Anchor Hocking Glass, and was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Nesi Lee Cable Finley; a daughter Judith Ann (Jeff) Jacob of Memphis, TN; two sons, Steve Finley of New Lexington, and Stanley Finley of Florida; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a sister Vivian Grady of Dresden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters; and two daughters-in-law, Sandy Finley, and Wanda Finley. Private funeral services will be held at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Mr. Bill Meaige officiating. He will be laid to rest at Rehoboth Cemetery, Rehoboth.
