Lillian P Miller

Lillian P. Sis Miller, 96, of Zanesville, died on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Brookdale under the care of hospice of Zanesville. She was born October 17, 1921, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late John J. and Ethel Livingood Holder. She was a 1939 graduate of Lash High School and worked several years in the office of Carl Rittberger Sr., Inc. and retired from Zane Foodtown. She was a member of Immanuel Church. She is survived by two great-nephews, Rick (Tammy) Swingle and Eric Swingle; two great-nieces, Karen (Richard) Moore and Erin (Greg) Carney; a sister-in-law, Margaret Holder; several great-great-nieces and nephews; special family friends Joann and Susan Jividen, Ed and Jan Hall, and Donny and Suellen Rhinebarger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Miller, who died February 16, 1997; a brother, John G. Holder; and two sisters, Betty Holder and Thelma Watson; a niece, Mrs. Earl (Kay) Swingle Friends and family may call from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, OHIO, with pastor Mitch Reed officiating. She will be laid to rest a Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
