Linda L. Lorentz, 72, of Zanesville, died at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 1, 1939, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Orin King and Helen Elizabeth Smitley Cramer. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed putting together plastic canvas with her friend Pam. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Harry N. Lorentz, whom she married August 27, 1957, of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth (Woody) Glosser of Zanesville and Melissa (John) Boyd of Newark; nine grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; two sisters, Patty Gaddis and Kathy; and three brothers, John, Tim and Jim Cramer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Lorentz; and a sister, Ann Mae Martin. Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark A. Combs officiating. Linda will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery.
