Linda K. (Hazlett) Stiers

Linda K. Stiers, 62, of Dalton, Ohio, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 23, 1949, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Foster A. and Ruth Porter Hazlett. She had worked as a lab tech for Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Lester R. (Les) Stiers, of the home; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Gary Ebbing of Lima, OH; a good friend, John Baird of Zanesville, OH; her cousins, Helen and Keith Porter of Maryland and Rita and Myron Porter of Columbus, OH. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Auble Funeral Home, 512 E Oak St., Orrville, OH and from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 with Rev. Terry D. Newman officiating. Linda will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
