Lloyd S. Jenkins

Lloyd S. Jenkins, 86, of Zanesville, died at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Willow Haven Care Center. He was born February 3, 1924, in Mainsville, Ohio, the son of the late William and Grace Ketcham Jenkins. He retired from the Newark Air Force Base. He was a member of the D.A.V. and a United States Army World War II Veteran . Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Dollie M. Harris Jenkins, whom he married July 11, 1959, and his loving little dog, "Babe." In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl and two sisters, Esther and Lola. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Arthur Potts officiating. VFW George Selsam Post #1058 in conjunction with the United States Army will hold full military rites at the graveside.
