Loren A. Nolan, age 84, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 11:25 pm Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born March 7, 1920 in Waterford Ohio the son of the late Samuel H. And Lucille Cooper Nolan. Mr. Nolan was a retired chemist at the Ohio Ferro Alloy corp., and later retired as a title runner at Balderson Motor Sales,a member of the Coburn United Methodist Church, an Army veteran of WWII , a member of the Muskingum County Western Music Hall of Fame and an avid sports fan. Surviving are one son, Larry R. (Carol) Nolan of Zanesville, two sisters, Leona (Ward) Bichard of Zanesville and Eileen Bagent of Zanesville, three grandchildren, Teresa (Joe) Hennessy, Tina Kay Nolan and Larry R. Nolan II, all of Zanesville, two great grandchildren, Keely and Lyndsey Hennessy of Zanesville, a special friend, Dorothy Foglesong of Zanesville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Roach Nolan, (6/24/1977), and one brother infant Francis Nolan. Friends may call 2 to 4 P.M. & 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home with the Dr. Dennis J. Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. V. F. W. George Selsam Post 1058 Will hold military services at the gravesite.
