Louella "Mae" Harmon, 80, of Zanesville, died at 4:45 A.M. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born February 28, 1934, in Union, WV, a daughter of the late Shelby and Margaret Bailey Kershner. She retired as a cook at the Abbott Home after 26 years of service. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Rick (Marcie) Harmon and Mike Harmon all of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Ashley (John) Wilson of Hopewell, Ryan (Laura) Harmon of Alexandria and Amber Harmon of Zanesville; four great grandchildren, Kenzie, Briar, Connor, Levi and two on the way; two sisters, Shirley Scholl of Clearwater, Florida and Patty Snyder of Zanesville; a brother-in-law, Calvin Harmon of Zanesville and a special Aunt, Birdie Davis of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Harmon, who died June 1, 1995. Friends and family may call from 4-6 P.M. on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 10, 2014, with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Herbert at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer Association: P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
