Louis R. Gee

Louis R. Gee, 90, of Zanesville died at 6:06 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the Muskingum Co. Home. He was born August 17, 1915 in Zanesville, a son of the late John R. & Juanita Hopkins Gee. He was a chemical mixer for American Match Co. and later worked for K-Mart for three years and was associated with his son at Jim's Auto Top. Louis was a member of the Woodlawn Ave. Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie (Walter) Gemmell of Heath and a son, Jimmie R. ( Roberta) Gee of South Zanesville, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn King Gee who died July 3, 1986, two sisters, Delores Johnson and Emma Johnson Patterson and by two brothers, Fred B. Gee and Wilbur D. Gee and his life long friend, Robert Kappel. Friends may call two hours prior to services which will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Evangelist Delbert McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington.
