Louise J. Coyle

Louise J. Coyle, 79, of Zanesville, died at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Muskingum County Home. She was born December 27, 1931, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Herbert and Louise Geltz Ryan. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Education and Special Education. She retired after 30 years of service as a teacher for Maysville Local School District and was a swimming instructor at Northside Beach for 15 years. She was a member of the Tree of Life Christian Fellowship Church. Surviving are two sons, Michael (Becky) Coyle of Zanesville and Kevin Coyle of New Lexington; three daughters, Tara (Mark) West, Vickie L. Coyle and Kimberly Jo Coyle, all of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) West, Sean West and Paul West; a great granddaughter, Bailey West; a twin sister, Jean Lyons of Zanesville; two brothers, Terry (Martha) Ryan of Zanesville and Bill (Joanne) Ryan of North Carolina; and a special nephew, David (Carol) Coyle of Coldwater, Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence B. Coyle, whom she married April 3, 1951 and who died April 17, 2006; a sister, Patricia Paul; a brother, Don Ryan; and a nephew, Patrick Coyle. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas N. Hayes officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Terrence, at a later date at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
