Lovell W. Mayle

Lovell W. Mayle, 92, of Port Orange, Florida, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008 at his residence. He was born May 4, 1916, in Morgan County, Ohio, a son of the late Herbert and Martha J. Mayle. He was a truck driver, which he lived and worked in Cleveland for many years before retiring to Florida. He was an avid CB operator and was a World War II Army Veteran. Surviving are a sister, Bonnie (Glenn) Kennedy of Zanesville; a special friend, Les and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Malta Mayle, who passed away in 1973; a sister, Dorothy Honesty and four brothers, Denver, Clifford, Dean and Vernette Mayle. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at noon Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Terry F. Newman officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
