Lucy Eileen Mansfield, 88, of Zanesville, died at 8:32 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born December 11, 1922, in Temperanceville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Patrick A. and Bertha McLaughlin McCort. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a hairdresser for McCoy's Beauty Shop. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann (Rick) Ebersole of Zanesville; three sisters, Edna Steele of Bellaire, Ohio, Ruth Ann Wehr of Barnesville and Adelaide (Don) Moore of Zanesville; two brothers, Joseph McCort of Barnesville and Patrick (Norma) McCort of Barnesville; a sister-in-law, Frances McCort of Barnesville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert J. Mansfield, who died June 28, 1993; three brothers, Justin, Charles and Frederick McCort; a sister, Mary Louise McCort; and two brothers-in-law, Denver Steele and Earl Wehr. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Vigil services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 Main Street, Zanesville with Father Martin Ralko as celebrant. Lucy will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Hubert at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
