Lynn Ann Wolfe

July 8, 1957 — February 22, 2009

Lynn Ann Wolfe, 51, of Zanesville, died at 10:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Genesis Bethesda Hospital emergency room. She was born July 8, 1957, in Zanesville, the daughter of Ernest L. Paynter of Lake Griffin, Fla. and Jeannine V. Harris Hannum of Zanesville. She was office manager at Zanesville Stoneware Company for 23 years and worked as an office manager for Thorne Plumbing-Heating for 7 years. She graduated as Valedictorian from Maysville High School Class of 1975 and then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Zane State College with an Associates Degree in Accounting where she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honorary Sorority. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School Class, helped with Vacation Bible School and was on the Education Committee. Lynn had been the treasurer for the Westview PTO and was PTO Treasurer for Roosevelt Middle School. The love of Lynn's life were her children, husband and her family. Surviving in addition to her parents, are her husband of 29 years, David Wolfe, whom she married June 9, 1979, of the home; a daughter, Abby Lynn Wolfe of the home; a son, Austin David Wolfe of the home; a brother, Ken (Jaci) Paynter of Zanesville; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her step father, Charles L. Hannum, who died October 7, 2008. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 516 Shinnick St., Zanesville and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2009 at the church with the Rev. Steve McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lynn for the benefit of Austin and Abby's Education, the flowers of our future, to any Huntington National Bank or simply send a note to the family on how Lynn touched your life.
