M. Vivian Householder, 84, of Zanesville, died at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born February 1, 1923, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Chester and Margaret Hormuth Covert. She retired in 1971 as a secretary at Radiology Associates of SEO, Inc. and was a very active member of the Coburn United Methodist Church, serving in many capacities, such as in the kitchen at the fair booth and in charge of communion. She also was a member of the Imhausen Circle and the United Methodist Women. Surviving are a daughter, Susan (George) Emch of Falling Waters, WV.; a son, Thomas R. Householder of Zanesville; a brother, Dr. Joseph Covert of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Jennifer (William) Rude and Michael Emch, all of Falling Waters, WV. and Robert Householder and Phillip Householder, both of Zanesville; five great grandchildren, Ian, Holly, Joshua, Andrew and Tyler and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Householder, whom she married July 7, 1940 and who died January 31, 1997, and a sister, Jane Ross. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Ave., Zanesville with the Rev. Doris Flynn officiating.
