M. Katherine (Anderson) Shrider

Mary Katherine Shrider, 92, of Zanesville, died at 7:15 P.M. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Oaks at Northpointe, Zanesville. She was born June 27, 1925, in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late John W. and Harriett B. Rogers Anderson. She was a housewife and member of First Baptist Church. Katherine was a member of the Rose White Shrine #8, Supreme Caldron, Amaranth Zane Court #36, Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles, Eastern Star Olive Branch Chapter #251, and Senior Citizen Club #1. She is survived by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville V. Shrider whom she married in 1955 and died July 25, 1990; and two brothers, William Barrell and Clarence R. Anderson. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, with Pastor David Nuhfer officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Orville at Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls.
