Mackenzie Ray “Kenzie” Lynn, 25, of Nashport, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, following an automobile accident. He was born, May 13, 1997, a son to Ray J. and Lisa M. (Young) Lynn in Zanesville. Kenzie was a 2016 Graduate of Zanesville High School, and 2018 graduate of Zane State Community College with his Associates Degree. He worked as a laborer for Kendrick Excavating, enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his friends and family especially his beloved son and biggest fan, Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, Mackenzie is survived by his son, Wyatt Kamren Lynn; two brothers, Michael Allen and Matthew Joseph Lynn; his grandparents, James W. And Mary Lou (Harsh) Young; the mother of his child, Kalli Jo Hartman; five aunts, Julie Young, Jennifer (Gary) Yashko, Kelly (Peter) Hoefele, Sandy (Kevin) Sparks, and Andy Novara; two Uncles, Carl Myers and Mike Lynn; five cousins, Nick, Joseph & Breanna Yashko, Sarah and Sophie Mantegna; and many loved friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Esther (Thomas) Lynn; one aunt, Valerie Lynn, and one uncle, John Myers.
Friends and family may call Friday, April 21, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. until the Time of Remembrance which will be held at 8:00 P.M. at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 22, 2023, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 East Main Street, Zanesville with Father Martin J. Ralko as celebrant. Mackenzie will be laid to rest at Mount Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
