Marcia Kay Helsel Dunkle, 65, of Zanesville, died at 6:45 A.M. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Genesis Hospital under hospice care and surrounded by her family. She was born on December 23, 1951 in Zanesville to Betty Kimble Helsel McClelland of Zanesville and the late Daniel Helsel. Marcia was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and worked for Shelly & Sands for 17 years as an equipment operator. Marcias hobbies were hunting, fishing, camping and sewing. Marcia is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael Dunkle of Zanesville, whom she married July 25, 1970; three daughters, Michell Dunkle of Marion, Melissa Jackson of Hopewell and Jennifer Dunkle of Zanesville and Diana Mynes who was considered as a daughter; two sisters, Darlene Brown of Zanesville and Linda Leonard of Crooksville; cousins-in-law, Oscar and Connie Jones; numerous nieces and nephews, and she was devoted to her beloved dogs, Sophie and Bear. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her step-father, Dale McClelland; mother-in-law, Bonnie Seiliet Dunkle and father-in-law, Purl Dunkle.
