Marcia Anne (Muffitt) Heiner

Marcia Anne Muffitt Heiner, 75, of Dallastown, PA, passed away at 5:40 P.M. on December 24, 2017 at Newark Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Newark, OH. Marcia was born in York, PA on June 28, 1942 to the late John and Helen Moxham Muffitt. She went to high school at York Suburban High School and graduated in 1960. Shortly after high school she married Charles R. Starner and they lived in York, PA until his unexpected death in 1964. Marcia eventually settled in Dallastown. She was an avid gardener and even had a yard certified as a wild life habitat in Dallastown. She enjoyed watching and feeding humming birds in her beautiful yard. Also, she loved and was devoted to many horses and dogs over her lifetime. She is survived by three sons, Russell Starner, Kenneth (Carrie) Starner, and Boomer Mitzel; two step-daughters, Selina Heiner Fink and Wendy Heiner Harman; three grandchildren, Addison Starner, Aiden Starner and Benny Mitzel; one brother, John Muffitt; and her dog, Louie. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Marvin C. Heiner; Charles R. Starner; and one sister, Cheryl Muffitt.
