Margaret “Margie” Ochoa, 60, of Zanesville, died at 6:41 A.M. on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 13, 1964, in Westland, Michigan, a daughter of John Carr and Mildred G. Cowger. Margie was a spirited soul who enjoyed the joy and laughter of her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She found joy in traveling, playing board games and working on her arts and crafts. In her free time, she loved keeping and maintaining her fish tank, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four daughters, Nicole Devlin, Analee Ochoa, Jessica Ochoa, and Sarah (Austin) Sandefur; two brothers, Albert Carr and Robert Carr; a sister, Elizabeth Noakes and a half-sister Kelly Gilbert; eleven grandchildren, Devin Miller, Landen Carr, Selena Lopez, Noah Devlin, Luke Devlin, Vinee Lopez, Tanley Young, Emanuel Lopez, Niviana Young, Daniella Young and Layla Sandefur; and her fur-baby, Squirt Murphy Ochoa.
Margie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel W. Ochoa; a daughter, Katie A. Carr; her mother, Mildred G. Carr; three brothers, John Carr Jr., Harold Carr, and Larry Carr; and a half brother, Steve Cowger.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service beginning at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Rob Morris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting potted plants to memorialize Margaret.
