Marguerite E. Gladwell

Marguerite E. Gladwell, 90, of Zanesville, died at 5:40 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2007 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born March 22, 1917, in Glouster, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha Harry Banfield. Marguerite was a retired beautician and the former owner and operator of Marguerite's Beauty Shop in the Putnam area. Surviving are a brother, Lawrence (Bonnie) Banfield of Zanesville. She will be missed most by her beloved nieces, Kay, Susie, Dorothy, Wanda, Joyce, Carol, Ida, Nancy, Lois, Cathy and Lori. Also nephews, Terry, Mark and Kevin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Gladwell, who died September 15, 1974; two sisters, Evelyn Smith and Marie Eddleblute; a brother, Jerry Banfield. and twin sisters, Mona and Myrtle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Pastor Doris Flynn officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.
