Marian E. Clossen, 79, of Zanesville, died at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her home. She was born February 13, 1929, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late George Robin and Ella A. Jenkins Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Market Street Baptist Church. Marian was a devoted wife and a loving sister who enjoyed animals and children. Surviving are two sisters, Edith Bowers and Virginia Smith, both of Zanesville; a brother, Charles (Janice) Davis of Zanesville. She loved all her nieces and nephews and the family wishes to thank her home care nurse, Christy Mayle for taking such good care of her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A Clossen, who died April 28, 1997; five sisters, Bernice Wright, Wilda Chema, Eileen Mohr, Annie Sims, and Emma Hagan and a brother, George Robin Davis Jr. Friends may call from noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Chuck Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
