Marian Crotzer

Marian L. (Teddy) Crotzer, 79, of Zanesville, died at 2:55 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Genesis Hospice- Morrison House. She was born January 6, 1926 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Paul B. and Florence Smith Meyer. Mrs. Crotzer was a homemaker and a former secretary for Attorney Clarence Graham at the Columbus, Ohio office. She was a 70 year member of the Market St. Baptist Church where she received the Right Hand of Fellowship in April 21, 1935. Mrs. Crotzer was a former Eastern Star Member, and served on the class of 1943 Lash High School Reunion Committee. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are two sons, Stephen J. (Sharon) Crotzer of Zanesville, and Keith E. (Lora) Crotzer of Trumann Ark., two brothers, Karl (Gingy) Meyer of Richmond VA., and David (Mary Lou) Meyer of Etna CA. two grandchildren, Amy (Albert III) Kozusko of Reynoldsburg and Kambria McIntire of Pickerington,.a great grandson Albert Kozusko IV, a step mother, Caroline Meyer of Zanesville, a sister in-law, Donna Meyer of Zanesville and a special companion, Kenneth Lien of Zanesville and her special pet schnauzer, Skipper. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Crotzer, who died January 31, 1992, by a infant son, Kenton Crotzer and a brother Rodney P. Meyer. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Johnston officiating. A caring cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.
