Marian A. Fracker

July 24, 1914 — August 9, 2007

Marian Arietta (Jackie) Fracker, 93, of Zanesville, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Willow Haven Care Center. She was born July 24, 1914, in Masontown, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Tarelton Ashby and Leona McClain Everly. She was a retired inspector for Anderson Windshield Wiper Blades, a beautician, worked at Timkin Roller Bearings and was a clerk at Maple View Terrace Apartments. She was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ and was a wonderful Christian lady who was willing to volunteer her time and talents to help others. She loved to read books, work crossword puzzles and play with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Joye Lee Hill of Portage, Indiana and Susan (Robert) Pettit of Zanesville; eight grandchildren, Kevin (Debby) Boggs, Bob (Tas) Boggs, Al Boggs Jr., Penny (Jacque) Reeves and Sue (Jim) Davis, all of Indiana, Ryan (Stacie) Pettit, Jason (Michele) Pettit and Kery Pettit, all of Zanesville; fourteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Flo George and Linda (Paul) Gray, both of Zanesville and Kathryn Everly of Chatham, Massachusetts. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Fracker, who died October 30, 1975; a daughter, Judy Ann Curdie; five brothers and four sisters. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Law officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
