Marian L. (Stewart) Peck

Marian L. Peck, 82, of Marion, IL., formerly of Norwich, OH, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Heartland Regional Hospital in Marion, IL. She was born February 24, 1928, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Victor and Edna Houghton Stewart. Surviving are three daughters, Nancy (Richard) Madinger of Marion, IL, Shirley (Walter) Touvell of Zanesville, OH and Helen Williams of Marion, IL; three sons, Roger (Linda) Peck of Huchinson, MN., Galen (Nancy) Peck of Hopewell, OH and Darrell (Rita) Peck of Waverly, WV; eighteen grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren; five sisters, Loraine Dilley of Nashport, OH, Geraldine Wallen of Dayton, OH, Dorothy Robinson of Zanesville, OH, Martha (Bud) Hardesty of Zanesville, OH and Jeannette (Larry) Hilterbrand of Chandlersville, OH; and a brother, Donald (Marge) Stewart of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Peck, whom she married in March of 1947 and who died in 1989 and a sister, Joy Daw. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Dean Cole officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Harry Peck in Norwich Presbyterian Cemetery, Norwich, Ohio.
