Marilyn R. (Reese) Davis

Marilyn R. Davis, 92, of Zanesville, died at 5:09 P.M. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born February 27, 1931, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Kramer) Reese. Marilyn was a member of the Market Street Baptist Church, she was a homemaker and volunteered her time at Good Samaritan Hospital, she was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing in various leagues.

She is survived by her daughter, Diana Davis; two granddaughters, Jenny Rose and Lindsay (Jarrett) Daniels; five great grandchildren, Nicholas Rose, Caitlin Rose, Tori Rose, Jayce Daniels and Dayne Daniels.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Davis who passed in August 2013; her son, Richard Davis; and siblings, Frederick Reese, Charles Reese, and Barbara Osburn.

A Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. Marilyn will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Donald.
