Marjorie Ellen Dorland

Marjorie (Marge) Ellen Dorland, 81, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024 at Ohio Health Hospital, Cambridge, with her family by her side. She was born May 28, 1943 to the late William (Archie) and Mary Ellen (Bebout) Ryan. Marge will be deeply missed by her husband Harold, whom she married on September 7, 1963, enjoying 60 years of marriage. She worked in the medical field and retail for several years and raising their children. Marge enjoyed playing bingo, mushroom hunting, lottery tickets, shopping and most of all spending time with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She leaves behind her husband, Harold E. Dorland; two daughters Kim (Jeff) Olinger and Janet Bryan; five grandchildren, Nicole Dorland, Tony Mack Dorland, Kayla (Jacob) Mohler, Bailey (Landan) Luna (great grandchild on the way) and Whitney (Jake) Graham; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; aunt-in-law, Bertha Dennis; and two sister-in-laws, Beverly Beason and Edie Zuress.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rhonda Jolene; a son Tony Dorland; a sister Sandy Miller; a brother William Ryan; mother and father In-law,  Elmer  (Wilma) Dorland; four brother-in-laws, David Dorland, Donny (Elsie) Dorland, Chuck Dorland and Gene Zuress; and a  sister-in-law, Nancy (Larry) Gray.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Old Cambridge Baptist Church, 10145 Brick Church Road Cambridge, Ohio 43725 with Pastor Craig Murray officiating.

Per Marjorie's wishes. a cremation will take place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
