Marjorie E. Winkelmes, 81, of Zanesville died at 10:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Autumn Health Care Center. She was born October 29, 1923 in Foxburg, PA, a daughter of the late Leonard and Ethyl Strohmeyer Schultz. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bethesda Junior Women's Club, former member of Zanesville Country Club and was an avid Bridge Player. Surviving are a son, Henry R. Winkelmes of Zanesville, a grandson, Nathan Winkelmes of Zanesville, five nieces, Linda Stearn of Sanibel, Florida, Patty Windhorst of Foxburg, PA, Jenny McCord of Foxburg, PA, Robin Harrah of Utica, Ohio, Jane Phipps of Clintonville and Michelle Long of Foxburg, MA., a nephew, Bob Montgomery of Foxburg.PA., great nieces, Tricia Muetzel & Kelly Peroni and great nephew, Brian McCord, sister-in-law, Mary Winkelmes of Erie, PA., brother-in-law, Donald & Mary Winkelmes of Westwood, MA. and best friends, Jerry & Margaret Smith of Zanesville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry R. Winkelmes, Sr.,two sisters, Roberta Montgomery.and Peg Kelly, a brother, Bill Schultz Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2005 with a Dominican Father officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
