Marshall I. Beish, 87, of Zanesville, died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1919, in Woodland, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Alvin and Amelia Maines Beish. He retired as a maintenance worker for the Burnham Corporation after 21 years of service and had worked as a coal miner and for Mosaic Tile. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall South Congregation. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Alice Duck Beish, whom he married April 24, 1940, of the home; a daughter, Gloria (Lawrence) Lee of Zanesville; three sons, Marshall A. (Betty) Beish of Chillicothe, Paul (Linda) Beish of Heath and Phillip (Deborah) Beish of Newark; fourteen grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and many other extended family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Beish; a sister, Sarah Lansberry and three brothers, Alvin, Russell and Jacob Beish. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall South Congregation, 1705 Pine St., Zanesville with Joey Kopchak officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville are entrusted with all arrangements.
