Mary A. (Dillehay) Crozier

December 29, 1925 — May 28, 2015

Mary Alice Crozier, 89, of Zanesville, died at 2:06 P.M. on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born December 29, 1925, in Morgan County, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lola Leasure Dillehay. She had been a clerk for J.J. Newberry, had decorated pottery at Cooper Pottery and also Mosaic Tile, and was a member of Norval Park Church of Christ. She taught Sunday School for 42 years, and enjoyed writing letters to family and friends. Surviving are two sisters, Maxine Boehler of Monroeville and Esther (George) Nourse of Bolivar; a brother Wilmer (Joan Stewart) Dillehay of Waverly; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Chuck and Lila Kinney of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Crozier, who died April 26, 2012; three brothers, Robert, Dwight, and Donald Dillehay; a brother-in-law Kenneth Boehler; and a sister-in-law Ruth Dillehay. Friends and family may call from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 1, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, with Evangelist Keith Kress officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Lyle at Dresden Cemetery, Dresden.
