Mary Elizabeth Imlay, 82, of Zanesville, died at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Emergency Room of an apparent heart attack. She was born September 22, 1927, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Donald H. and Olive Huff Parker. Mary worked as a sales clerk for 24 years at Imlay's Uniforms and volunteered at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital and The American Red Cross. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, where she served as Elder and Deacon and sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the CCL and the Zanesville Greater Singers Choir. Mary is survived by a daughter, Melanie Ann Imlay of Zanesville; twin sons, Daniel (Mary) Imlay and Donald (Lynn) Imlay, both of Columbus; a sister, Kathryn (Fred) Wright of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Lisa Lorraine, Danielle Imlay, Trevor Imlay, Ben Imlay, and Arianne Imlay, all of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Imlay, who died August 28, 2005; a sister, Majorie Smith and a brother, Richard Parker. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Central Presbyterian Church, 40 N. 6th St., Zanesville with Rev. Ray Morrison Jr. officiating.
