Mary K. McMahan, 54, of Zanesville, died at 4:24 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 14, 1955, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late John and Florence Krouskoupf Alford. She had worked as a rehab aide for Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of the Solid Rock Wesleyan Church of Cambridge and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener. Surviving is her husband of 37 years, Charles H. McMahan, whom she married July 28, 1973, of the home; a daughter, Diana L. (Benjamin) Moore of Zanesville; a son, Mike (Wendy) McMahan of Zanesville; two sisters, Colleen (Max) Burtnett and Becky (Jack) Lowry, both of Zanesville; two brothers, John (Deena) Alford and Delbert (Nancy) Alford, both of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Alison McMahan, Hannah Moore, Andrew McMahan and Nicholas Moore; her two dogs, Peaches and Chloe; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Frank officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Zanesville.
