Mary L. Nader, 87, of South Zanesville, died at 5:48 P.M. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at her home. She was born July 1, 1928, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William Russell and Nellie Frances Kronenbitter Ballenger. She had worked as a secretary for the Credit Bureau, was president of REACT for many years, was formerly a Girl Scout Leader, and loved watching Dirt Track and NASCAR races. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Robbins; two grandchildren, Angela (Bradley) Thompson and Robert Robbins Jr.; one great granddaughter Olivia Thompson; a sister Wanda Dozer; two nieces, Fran Chema and Sandy (Allen) Avery; a nephew Terry Caw; two great nephews, Eric (Jenny) Avery and Mark Avery; and a furry companion Jasper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Nader who died March 18, 1969; and a sister Effie Chema. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 6, 2016, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband John at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
