Melva L. Hill, 75, of Zanesville, died at 4:20A.M. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born November 27, 1942 in Waverly, MO to the late Virgil William and Virginia Cordell Hostetter. She worked as an assembler at United Technologies and loved to read books and baking. She is survived by five daughters, Debra (Ray) Reavley, Sharon (Tim) Parrill, Kathy (Joe) Fell, Joyce (Terry) Byers Jr. Dawn (James) Dillon; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren; a sister, Jen (Russ) Kelso; and three brothers, Charles Hostetter, Larry (Dolly) Hostetter and Abe (Sarah) Hostetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Hill, whom died on September 11, 2010; a daughter, Lisa McDaniel; a grandson, Scott Alan Morrison Jr.; three sisters, Nora Ann Shaw, Marlene Loggins and Thelma Smith. Monday, December 11, 2017 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 with Pastor Keith Wyatt Sr. officiating.
