Merle Louise Kassell Murray

MERLE LOUISE KASSELL MURRAY, age 63, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 6:45 am Sunday, May 9, 2004 at the Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, Morrison House. She was born June 15, 1940, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Haevey and Verna Weaver Kassell. Mrs. Murray was a former employee of United Technologies Automotive and later became a machine operator at Longaberger Basket Co. She was a member of the St John Lutheran Church at Philo, Ohio. Surviving are her husband, Carl D. Murray, (Married October 5, 1984), of the home, four daughters, V. Sue Valentine of Zanesville, Karolyn M. (John) Fitch Jr. Of Zanesville, Teresa J. (Tom) Sanor of Columbus, and Kimberly J. Wakeley of Zanesville, five sons, Michael E. (Dee) Martin of Zanesville, Steve D. (S.Lannie) Martin of Zanesville, Harvey B (Shannon) Martin of Zanesville, Gordon D. (Karen) Martin of Bloomfield, and Clay A. Martin of the home, four sisters, Bonnie White of Ariz., Delores (Dave) Gordon of Ind., Donna (Harvey) Gogel of Philo, and Carol Kahre of Ariz, one brother, Raymond (Pat) Fluharty of Zanesville, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and special pets, Peaches and Red. Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, Zanesville with the Pastor David Vandenberg officiating. Cremation will follow.
