Michael R. Barr Sr.

Michael R. Barr Sr., 57, of Zanesville, died at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Cedar Hill Care Center. He was born September 9, 1952, in Zanesville, a son of the late Charmaine Smith Hultguren and Richard L. Barr. He worked in the derby's for Variety Attractions. Surviving are two sons, Michael R. Barr Jr. and Richard (Stephanie) Barr, both of Zanesville; a daughter, Jonte Barr of Zanesville; four grandsons, Jordon, Xadrian, Landon and Jarran; two sisters, Becky Quinn and Connie King, both of Zanesville; a niece, Traci and a nephew, Brian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dean Hultguren. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
