Michael J. Mccarty

Michael J. McCarty, 64, of Zanesville, died at 8:51 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born August 19, 1941 in Zanesville, a son of the late Murl and Marian Stenger McCarty. He retired from Central Ohio Coal Co. as a mechanic and was working for the Do-it- Center. He attended St. Thomas Catholic Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife, Julieta Galan McCarty, whom he married July 25, 2005, of the home, two daughters, Patricia (Noman) Noman of Cambridge and Toni McCarty of Gahanna,, a brother, Patrick (Jennifer) McCarty of Marathon, Florida, a sister, Mary Ann Nock of Columbus, four grandchildren, Dustin Hayes, Valerie Hayes, Alicia Roberts and Ashley Roberts, an aunt and uncle, Martha and Bob Drake. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2006 with a Dominican Father officiating.
