Michael Dale Stotts, 66, of Zanesville, died at 1:53 A.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he gave the gift of life through organ donation. He was born March 1, 1956, in Zanesville, a son of the late Dale and Patricia (Butler) Stotts. He was a retired Rock Truck Driver for Pleasant Valley Limestone. Mike was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, and an honorary VFW member. He loved horses, riding his motorcycle, and working on or fixing things. He also enjoyed woodworking, and was always happy spending time with his family.
He is survived by three daughters, Katie (Aaron) Leaver, Sheryl (Noah) Hiles, and Julie (Shawn) Edwards; two sons, Garrett Stotts and Wyatt Stotts; five grandchildren, Jerry, Jeffrey, Bentley, Connor and Bailley; one great grandson, Brantley; two brothers, Mark (Sam) Stotts and Danny (Chris) Stotts; and two sisters, Karen (Dave) Seisinger and Becky (Randy) Middleton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kristen Stotts and Nathaniel Stotts; and the mother of his children, Terry Stotts.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral service at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, December 5, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 80 E Main Street, South Zanesville, Ohio 43701, with Pastor David Nuhfer officiating. A cremation will follow. BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, has been entrusted with all arrangements.
