Mildred M. Rhoades, 80, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 12:50 p.m., Friday, December 3, 2004 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born April 20, 1924 in Adamsville, Ohio, the daughter of Jacob and Martha Cunningham Wickham. Mrs. Rhoades was employed in housekeeping/linen at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital for twenty years and a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are two daughters, Martha V. (Charles) Mauller Jr. Of Wintersville, Oh., and Karen M. Rhoades of Zanesville, two sons, James V. Rhoades Jr. of Zanesville, and Ronald L. (Theresa) Rhoades Sr. of Adamsville, one brother Gerald (Eleanor) Wickham of Zanesville, four grandchildren, Tiffany (Chad) Tilton of Duncan Falls, Ronald (Mandy) Rhoades Jr. of Blue Rock, Nichol Mauller and fiancee Chris Bateman of Zanesville, and Dustin Rhoades and fiancee Andrea Cupli of Zanesville, two great grandchildren, Alivia Tilton and Christopher Bateman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Rhoades Sr., (1963) and two brothers, David Wickham and Ernest Wickham. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 6th, 2004 at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 7th, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.with the Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
