Mindy Sue Hendershot

Mindy Sue Hendershot, 30, of Nashport, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Genesis Bethesda Hospital. She was born November 8, 1978, in Zanesville, the daughter of Pamela J. Kinney Myer and the late Thomas G. Myer. Mindy was a beautiful, caring person, loving wife and mother, and active in her church at the Word of Life Ministries. She worked several years at the Community Bank on the West Pike, and was currently employed at Rankin & Rankin Insurance. Mindy was a 1997 Graduate of West Muskingum High School and M.A.T.C. She was the Assistant Director for the West Muskingum Twisters for nine years with her long life friend, Tobi (King) Doyle. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Chad S. Hendershot of the home; her mother, Pamela J. Myer; a daughter, Kaitlyn Marie Hendershot; a son, Joseph Thomas Hendershot; her brother, Nicholas Myer; mother and father in law, Jerry and Brenda Hendershot; grandparents, Charles and Lila Kinney, and Don and Madge Myer; aunts, Teresa (Myer) Auldridge, Kathy (Doug) Darr, and Debbie Smith; uncles, Doug (Pam) Kinney and Kevin (Sandy) Kinney; brother and sister in law, Shane and Kathie Hendershot; brother and sister in law, Jerry and Holly Hendershot; and sister and brother in law, Lisa and Jason Green; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Word of Life Ministries Church, 713 Dryden Rd., Zanesville with the Rev. John Sensabaugh officiating. After the service, the family will hold a private burial for Mindy at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mindy for her children Kaitlyn and Joseph, c/o any Community Bank in Zanesville.
