Myron D. "Max" Maxwell, 57, of Zanesville, died at 9:03 P.M. on Monday, February 23, 2015, at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born June 25, 1957, in Zanesville, a son of the late Delbert E. and Esther Faye Nixon Maxwell. He was a 1975 graduate of Zanesville High School, and received his Associate's Degree in Business at the Muskingum Area Technical College. He had worked at Tartan Textiles, was former Assistant Manager for Woolworth's, and worked in the meat department at the South Zanesville Riesbeck's. Max was an avid bowler in several leagues, he was an X-Box video gamer, and he loved going to the movies and traveling with his wife. Surviving are his wife of 34 and a half years, Kim A. Robison Maxwell, whom he married August 17, 1980; three fur kids, Mulder, Skully, and Kira Kai; a sister Becky (Rusty) Robison of Westerville; his parents-in-law William A. and Shirley A. Robison of Zanesville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kelly and George Patterson of Zanesville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Scott and Michelle Robison of Zanesville; two aunts, Sarah West and Ruth Foster, all of Zanesville; and an uncle Ralph Nixon of Zanesville. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 2, 2015, with Chaplain Donna Morley officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter Society: 1430 Newark Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
